Capital One’s Deposit Disaster
Have you heard about the recent deposit issues at Capital One?
Unfortunately, I am one of many impacted by this issue. Nothing is more frustrating than not having access to your funds. Although a resolution is currently in progress, this does not change the countless consumers who have not been paid since Wednesday earlier this week.
When skimming commentary sections of articles, I find individuals who are living check-to-check and listing out what they have not been able to do because of this interruption.
Can't purchase life saving medication
Can't pay tuition for childcare
Can't buy groceries
So what can be glossed over as a "3rd Party Error" for the media, there are real people who, in just 72 hours, have been severely impacted.
This situation has my thoughts pulled in different directions and it is an uncomfortable reminder that money in a bank account is not tangible.
